Where To Move in The USA?

Moving to a new area in the UK can be a pretty daunting experience; there’s a whole new community to become a part of and you’ll have to get used to a whole new environment, but moving abroad is a whole new kettle of fish.

Once you’re there, getting out of the UK might be just what you needed, but deciding where to go can be a very tough process. If you’re looking to swap the rolling green hills of Blighty for the great expanse of the US, we’ve got some ideas of where to hang your hat.

New York, New York

The Big Apple has so much to offer if you’re a city-lover and want to be surrounded on all sides by life, lights, culture and buzz. If you’re looking for a quiet life then ‘The City That Never Sleeps’ probably isn’t the right choice for you. If you want a bit of excitement, however, and you have the financial capability to rent or buy in one of the most expensive property markets in the world, then there are few cities across the globe - if any - that can match New York.

Cali

Although New York has a lot to offer in terms of city-life, it’s missing one crucial thing for many people; consistently hot and beautiful weather. This is where California slides in (On roller-skates and a flamboyant shirt) with its beaches, palm trees and blistering heat. It doesn’t even matter if you’re a city lover or someone pining for the countryside, you could set up in LA, San Francisco or one of the many county areas in the state which offer everything from vineyards to picturesque valleys.

Texas

Texas is the largest state in the USA, and it’s also fast becoming one of the most popular states in the nation to move to. The inflating jobs market, quality of life, natural beauty and cost of living all make it a thoroughly attractive place to live.

As well as large countrysides dotted with ranches, there are also cities like Austin which have a reputation for great culture and a buzzing nightlife.
